The Scandinavian way
Something I find really fascinating is how we are often three different nationalities on the flights out of Copenhagen: Swedes, Danes and Norwegians. It does not take long before you understand all three languages, so on board we usually communicate in our own language.
I will say something in Swedish and get an answer back in Danish or Norwegian, and all of us understand. I think this must be one of the only places in the world where this multilingual work environment works so flawlessly.
We are three similar countries, but there are also cultural differences, and different ways of thinking, but we have one thing in common: The way we treat our passengers, our genuine smiles, sense of humor and service. I think this is why we get along so well with each other. We laugh a lot and there is always a helping hand when you need it.
I often hear from the passengers that stepping on board one of our planes is like coming home. We are doing this together and I love it. I also think this is one of our biggest strength that will carry us into the future. The Scandinavian way.
